BBC Introducing supports unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar musicians across the UK, and on Thursday 19th January 2012 we will be holding a very special event for new musicians have invited Nick Tyldsley from Lavellion to be a part of it.

The BBC Introducing Musicians Masterclass, hosted at two world famous studios, Abbey Road and Maida Vale in London, will give Nick the opportunity to hear from some of the biggest names in the Music Industry - including BBC DJs, Heads of Music, big name artists, heads of labels, agents and managers. It will be a great opportunity to get an insight into the business side of the industry as well as get tips on recording, performing and writing. We will have a range of sessions throughout the day which will be of interest to you whatever your genre of music, and whether you are a soloist or part of a band...

The BBC kicked off the first Musicians' Masterclass back in February 2011. 250 lucky musicians got the opportunity to hear from some of the biggest names in the industry, including: Kaiser Chiefs, Tinchy Stryder, Mark Ronson, Labrinth, label MDs from Sony and Beggars plus Toddla T, Annie Mac, Jo Whiley, Tom Robinson, Steve Lamacq, Zane Lowe, Bobby Friction and Pete Tong. They filmed the day’s events, streamed it live online and you can check out the videos here... bbc.co.uk/music/introducing/advice/masterclass/2011/
